Frances Fisher, Board Chairwoman of Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 17,000 professional women of African descent in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

A native of West Palm Beach, Ethel will share with our members both the wonders and the challenges of leading a national organization.

We look forward to learning about Ethel’s leadership journey, as we savor the beautiful backdrop of Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens and enjoy their new exhibition. Discovering Creativity in partnership with Heather James Fine Art will weave the curatorial story of American Art masters by showcasing their artwork both chronologically and stylistically. The artists in the exhibition including Georgia O’Keeffe, Andrew and N.C. Wyeth, Thomas Hart Benton, Jackson Pollock, and Lee Krasner are all members of the Historic Artists’ Home and Studios (HAHS) Program, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
